This privacy policy describes the collection and use of your data made by WCO, as data controller, i.e. World Containerboard Organisation (WCO), legal entity under Belgian law, with enterprise number 0833.959.775, established at 1050 Ixelles, Avenue Louise 250, Belgium (hereinafter “WCO” or “we”).

Your name, as a contact person of your company / organisation
Address of your company / organisation

Email address*
Website URL of your organisation
E-mail messages and other written communication exchanged between us

Some information submitted may be qualified as personal data under the General Personal Data Regulation (GDPR) N° 2016/679.


B. USE OF PERSONAL DATA

1.WCO processes the above-mentioned personal data in the context of its corporate mission, for the purposes of performing its corporate activities, providing information to its members (though newsletters, interactive apps or other means) and organising WCO activities (e.g. meetings, reporting,…) or events. This processing serves the legitimate interests of WCO and its member companies / organisations and has a limited impact on your fundamental rights and freedoms, considering that only your professional information is used.
2.Your data may be shared with WCO member companies / organisations. Your data will not be shared with third parties for any commercial purposes.
3.You may withdraw your consent to the processing of the data at any time by writing an e-mail.
4.You have the right to access the data which WCO processes and, should the data be incorrect or incomplete, to have the data rectified. You also have a right to erasure, restriction of processing and to object to processing. You can exercise these rights by sending an e-mail.
5.Personal data will be stored as long as you are the designated contact person of your organisation and your organisation is relevant for WCO’s activities (e.g. your company / organisation is a WCO member or your company / organisation is a stakeholder to WCO or its member organisations).
6.Should you have any complaint concerning the processing of your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent national supervisory authority.
